Hey!
My simple prayer requests for me personally are that I would be applying all that learn here in Israel, that I would learn to be wise with my tongue, and that I would recover from this nagging cough. Thanks!
Please continue to pray for Mandy as she recovers from her car accident! =) Thanks! Of course, praise the Lord, f0r she’s doing amazingly!
Hey, I want to just say “thank you” to all of you who have been and are continuing to bathe me and this college experience with prayer! I appreciate all of you so much, and although we may never know the full extend of their affects, I know God is working through them.
A Praise: Although I have yet to get to know my roommate and don’t know how that’s going to work out, I just want to thank God because I have met a purely awesome girl, Audrey, from Oregon, who has been such a friend this week. I met her last Sunday and we’ve been enjoying each other since. I wish she was my roommate – maybe next year! – but perhaps this will help us treasure our growing friendship more without having to live on top of each other in these small dorms. Anyway, today I almost slipped and asked her if a certain girl reminded her of Danielle Butterworth then realized that she wasn’t from NY. That’s how much fun we’re having, that I would feel like we’ve known each other from back in NY. (I’m really tired, so if this doesn’t make sense, I’m sorry!) She’s in the same dorm and on the same floor as I am, so we get to hang out a lot together. Thank God with me!

My friends Chad and Parker and Parker’s brother are going open-air preaching at UCLA next Friday, May 4th. Please be praying for wisdom for them as well as for the right words and a receptive audience.
Thanks!

Hey there Ashley,
I just took a look at your blog and have to say I went through about every emotion: serious, laughing, crying, etc. Your note on Hindsight was not only written very well, but very touching. It is another perspective for me. You are amazing, you are dealing with this so well knowing who you need to put all of your trust in. Yes it is in His hands as well as the hands of those He gave great medical skill and knowledge to. That one made me cry.
Then I needed the laugh when I watched not only the Uptown video but the bloopers. What fun you must have had. What great memories you are making. You are right, there is where you should be now.
Trust that we are watching out for your sister and your parents here. Take care. God Bless. We miss you. e-mail or call ANYTIME you need.

Your “Hindsight” post is incredible! The Lord has given you rare clarity of thought regarding His plans in the midst of unbelievable uncertainty and heartache. The spiritual maturity you demonstrate is such a blessing. God definitely has marvelous plans for you!
